Introducing AJLA

A.J. Luz Associates was founded in 1950 by Alfredo J. Luz and a small group of professionals trained in planning and architecture. The original group grew into one of the most progressive and dynamic architectural and engineering firms in the country. In 1964, it was reorganized to become a fully integrated architectural and engineering firm with national and international interest and scope.

The main offices were located in Manila, Philippines. Occupying the top floor of the 666 T. Kalaw Building, the facilities consisted of the main reception area, private offices for senior staff members, conference rooms, plan room and document center, specially designed cubicles for designers, both architectural and engineering, and a printing room with facilities for handling white printing, sepia reproduction and document copying. A well-appointed library contained technical books and other reference material on the humanities was also provided. A separate lunch room designed with a distinctive club-like atmosphere offered eating and recreational facilities for all staff members.
